LockNLube Grease Coupler XL (GC81042-NPT & GC81042-BSPT) - Troubleshooting
Extended-reach locking grease coupler (approx. 4" reach) for accessing recessed grease fittings. Rated to 10,000 PSI, it locks onto standard Zerks (grease nipples) to provide a secure, leak-free connection and releases easily with a thumb lever. Available with 1/8″ NPT or 1/8″ BSPT threads to fit all grease guns.
- Attaching the Coupler
- Press thumb lever to retract jaws
- Push coupler fully onto the grease fitting
- Release lever to lock
- Approximately 1–2 threads of the Zerk should be inside the coupler
- Detaching the Coupler
- Fully depress the thumb lever and pull off
- Releases cleanly even with residual line pressure
- Do not twist or yank without using the lever
- Pressure Handling
- Designed to release safely even under high pressure
- In extreme cases, pressure can be relieved via hose, gun, or PRV
