LockNFlate Dual Wheel Locking Air Chucks (Straight & Angled Heads – LNL65107-BSPT & LNL65108-BSPT) Troubleshooting
LockNFlate Dual‑Wheel Chuck – Maintenance & Troubleshooting

- Maintenance Overview
- Designed to be low‑maintenance with factory‑sealed construction
- Lubrication
- Periodically apply a drop of light machine oil or spray lubricant to moving parts
- Focus on the collar and internal slide to keep steel jaws retracting and extending smoothly
- Latch & Release Issues
- If the chuck is difficult to latch or remove, ensure the thumb lever is fully pulled back when attaching and fully depressed when releasing
- Partial lever actuation is the most common cause of a “stuck” chuck
- Air Leakage During Inflation
- Usually indicates the chuck is not fully seated or locked
- Remove and reattach with a firm push so the jaws securely grab the valve stem
- Verify the tire’s valve core is not damaged or partially unscrewed
- Cleaning
- No user‑serviceable internal parts; do not attempt to disassemble the chuck
- If debris (mud, grit) clogs the jaw opening, flush with penetrating oil or brake cleaner, then re‑lubricate
- Rubber handle grip may be removed temporarily for external cleaning only
- Storage
- Store with the tip covered or in a toolbox to minimize dust and debris ingress
- Service Life
- With basic care, these chucks commonly last many years in professional service environments
